The 3rd MPL Quarter Final of the year was held on Saturday 18th April 2009 won by Guy Coley.

126 players registered to play for the £1000 first prize! This is the biggest field we have had since we began back in 2007. Paul Archer was again the host supplying the venue with some great food, including a delightful home-made lasagne and a tasty chicken curry for lunch.

A buffet was provided in the evening.



Year 2 season 3 made way for the highest Average in MPL history, that being Kevin Saunders from The Windmill with a score of 82. Lee Cooper topped the National Leaderboards with a total score of 1,709.

The Final Table

The final table was quite a local affair and included: Richard Sumners, from The Boat, placing 8th. Mark Cavell, from The Crosswells Inn, placing 7th. Gemma Edwards from our Online games, placing in 6th. Tom Gannon, from The Goose, finishing in 5th. Michael Gannon, also from The Goose placing in 4th. Adrian Shadforth, from The Crosswells Inn placing in 3rd. Lee Cooper from The Boat was the Runner-Up and Guy Coley who also plays at The Boat was crowned the new MPL Quarter Final Champion.
